The State of Qatar participates in the meeting of the Arab Ministers of Economy and Finance headed by our Ambassador to Argentina

 The State of Qatar participated in the meeting of Arab Ministers of Economy and Finance held on the sidelines of the 11th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO), that took place from 10 to 13 December 2017. The delegation of the State of Qatar was headed by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Argentina, H.E. Fahad bin Ibrahim Al Mana.

The Ambassador stressed the importance of all Arab countries joining the World Trade Organization and the readiness of the State of Qatar to provide all support to the Arab countries during the joining process. He praised the progress made by the WTO on the Doha Development Agenda. He called for the completion of the Doha Round negotiations, saying that their success is an important element in enhancing the credibility, effectiveness and fairness of the multilateral international trading system and expressed Qatar's desire to support all efforts to resolve outstanding issues on the Doha agenda. Regarding the issue of Jerusalem, H. E. manifested that Trump's decision has put the United States' relationship with the Arab and Islamic nations to the test, and that the State of Qatar expresses its total denial of the American decision and affirms its full support for the Palestinian cause.
